    Kegerator question...

Ya the condensation is simply forming all the time, even if I wipe it down from time to time. I did move it from the main room in my basement to a smaller, carpeted room in the basement, which is likely a bit warmer than the rest of the basement. We never had the problem before with the...

    Kegerator question...

Heylo-- Just a quick question about my keggerator.. I've got perlick stainless taps and I seem to be getting quite a bit of condensation on them..I recently moved the fridge to a smaller room in my basement, and had not experienced this before... Just wondering if this is normal/OK...

CO2 tank empty, not sure what happened.

Is it likely that the CO2 leaked out of the empty keg through the beer hose?? I mean technically speaking-- should that happen if I leave an empty keg for a week? Or should the seal on the tap be good enough to keep the CO2 from leaking?? If the tap isn't the problem... Do leaks just sort...

CO2 tank empty, not sure what happened.

Hi-- New to kegging and I've got a 2 keg kegerator system with perlick forward sealing taps. About a week ago, I finished the beer from one of the kegs. Being in a hurry at the time, I did not even think to turn off the valve to that keg, nor did I remove the CO2 hose or beer hose from the...

Thanks for all the responses.. Now, my next step is to actually stick some homebrew in there... The CO2 is in the fridge so that would explain why its reading at 500psi. Also, if anyone can explain this to me, I would really appreciate it.. I'm always interested in the science behind...

    need kegging help bigtime..

OK, a friend and I recently bought a kegerator system from kegconnection.com and built the kegerator, etc. etc. Since neither of us had a homebrew going and we wanted to test this thing out, we got the local microbrewery to fill them up for us (we have 2 keg system). I hooked everything up...

    starting a keggerator project

would just insulating the tower work well enough/just as well? I saw some threads where some insulated piping was put around the tower. Can the sanyo fit two cornelius kegs and the CO2 tank, or just the kegs?

    starting a keggerator project

OK.. I have been through a lot of threads here getting some ideas. I'm working with somewhat of a limited budget (I dont want to spend much more than 500 on the whole kegging system) so keep that in mind. I would like to have a tower, I plan on building a bar and would like to have the...

    secondary overflow!

heylo.... I've got some secondary overflow going on right now...the actual beer is up in the secondary flowing out of the airlock a little bit. Its just bubbling and foaming out. question -- What do I do? Should I just let it go and then never replace the fluid in the airlock (fluid...

    Hops adjustment

I am making a beer that calls for the use of 1.5 ounces Willamette @ 5% AA (7.5 HBU). The only Willamette hops I could find were 4.5%, so using the formula that says that HBU = ounces X AA%, I adjusted the recipe and using 1.666666 ounces of Willamette hops. Since AA only affects...
