Quick question for you, as I'd like to follow in your foot-steps and use my keggle. What did you use for taking the turkey in and out of the oil? Also, how big of a turkey did you fry? Thanks!

Well if you want to be technical and rude. Oktober is just German for October, and Oktoberfest goes into early October at least it did when I was in Munich...
Id like to get this going and fermenting, how has it been doing so far? If I brew this now or in the next couple weeks will I be able to drink it by late sept early oktober? Thanks!

I know that a few of you guys are saying that you are putting the gelatin into your corny kegs and it is working awesome. I want to do this and just have a quick question. Are you just boiling the water (sanitizing) and then cooling down to add gelatin? Or how are you doing it? Thanks!
Thanks for the encouragement guys! I ordered my stuff tonight, so I will be brewing this soon. I'll let you know how it turns out, if anyone else brews this let me know!
Final Change!! I am scrapping the Chinook bittering hops due to my desire to brew with Citra! I am going to use 2 Oz's at 60 mins and then continue with the recipe.
Has anyone used WLP051 Cal Ale V Yeast? And will it handle a beer with a high gravity such as 1.086?
Thanks!
Hi Guys,

I was just looking for some feedback on a clone recipe I have been working on, "Lagunitas' A Little Sumpin Extra Ale." Im currently in the military and stationed overseas so whenever I see a good looking beer my only chance is to clone it! After much time consulting the web and...
Im pretty new to this whole home-brewing thing, and I think I may have made a big mistake. Im getting ready to bottle my first batch today and with out thinking about it I cleaned the bottles out with dish soap.
Will it be ok if I just sanitize them now? Will the dish soap keep the beer...
Hello to all! I have been soaking up the awesome info in this forum for a while. I am in the military stationed in Germany for the past 2 years and I really enjoy it. My buddy Tony and I, started our first batch last weekend a India Brown Ale and I have already ordered the ingredients for my...
So I guess we know to keep the extra! A few updates to the Ale Pail, I can now see through the airlock that it is bubbling. This excites me greatly, I wish I had the 6 gallon better bottle so I could see it all happening.
My next brew has been planned and I am going with a Irish Red Ale...
