If you want to see them bubble, wrap the top with Saran Wrap after you put the lid on. Works great!

12 gallons Kern River DIPA = 6968

I use both 12 and 22. It depends on the type of beer I am bottling. Big stout/IIPA goes majority in 12s and other smaller beers go in 22s. I usually do some of each size for an average ABV beer, that way I can decide what serving size I want when I'm browsing the fridge.

10 gallons Yoopers pale ale = 4474

You doubt it why? Have you done any sort of test on it? I'm truly not trying to be argumentative, I would just like to know what variations have been seen from people who use hydrometer and refractometer readings to verify the results.
