    Looking for M-43 Clone

For reference, here is a picture of the actual beer. My guess would be 60% Pilsner, 20%. Flaked oats and 20% flaked wheat. It has a very slick mouthfeel. Small bittering charge at FWH. Larger whirlpool additions and a long steep. Double dry hop, first at 3 days during active fermentation and...

What size bottles do you use exclusively?

I use both 12 and 22. It depends on the type of beer I am bottling. Big stout/IIPA goes majority in 12s and other smaller beers go in 22s. I usually do some of each size for an average ABV beer, that way I can decide what serving size I want when I'm browsing the fridge.

    Refractometer

You doubt it why? Have you done any sort of test on it? I'm truly not trying to be argumentative, I would just like to know what variations have been seen from people who use hydrometer and refractometer readings to verify the results.

    Refractometer

http://www.brewersfriend.com/refractometer-calculator/ Here is the one I use. I have used a refractometer exclusively as well, and recently just picked up a hydrometer to see how much of a difference there really was. The last two batches have been nearly identical. Wasting 2-3 ounces of beer...

See what I mean? Feel free to dry hop now and bottle in 2-13 days.

First dry hopping questions. Double IPA

Yes you can. There is some discussion about waiting until fermentation is complete because of the possibility of Co2 removing some of the hop character, but I don't beleive this has been proved or disproved. Add now, or wait until you are sure fermentation is complete is up to you.
