    Just the boil off, I only have a 5 gal pot so I can't put in 6.5 gals. So I might have to top off the fermenter to get it at 5gals total.

    Ok this might be a dumb question but just needed to get it cleared. If I end up with losing more water than I thought can I just add the water to the fermenter and wort before pinching the yeast? I know it might water it down but just wanted some good brewers opinions. Thanks

    I don't mill mine, they are milled by the shop I use. But using the blender might work. Thank you again for clearing this up for me. How much water do u normally lose during the final boil?

    I am new to all grain and I'm using the BIABG method, do I have to add more grain to my grain bill? I have read that because of the low efficiency that you must add 1/3 more of each grain. Is that true?

    Brewed mine up on Monday brew day turned into 6 hours of fun. Messed up on the OG reading, but looking forward to adding blueberries. Does anyone have their fermentation schedule? Not sure if I should do 1-2 weeks in primary and how long on fruit in secondary? Thanks

    Oh ok I wasn't sure if the rum would bump it up. I added it 3 weeks ago. And it moved from 1.021 to 1.014.

    So I just made my FG at 1.014 and my starting OG 1.050. What would my abv be? I thought this was a little low since I added 16oz of rum at the secondary. Or should I take another FG after bottling ?
