    Saw batch of aventinus clone go from dud to stud at day 5, Immaculate fermentation? I appreciated reading about similar stories and decided to let it run it's course with a little aeration and time.

    What I did for beer today

    Fired up the fridge in the garage to store finished homebrew in. Need to install valve and thermometer in the new brew pot and do a test drive with new worth chiller to check for leaks. On the new Bayou Burner out front. Revolutionizing my game!

    Gluten free white ipa

    Very cool, I wimped out and did just a straight white iPa after all. Just got new gear so I will be brewing more and may circle back to the idea. Thanks for the input!

    Yesterday got excellent ingredients and advice from hbs sierra moonshine for my white ipa. Today will be cleaning with pbw and getting ready for an awesome memorial day weekend brew day!

    IPA Recipe Thread

    Forgive me, but what does flameout refer to? Putting it in at the end of the boil and as you start to cool? Does this make for any less sanitary brew since you adding things that don,t get boiled? Our is it hot enough at the end? Would appreciate any advice. Thanks!

    Gluten free white ipa

    Good call, I have never used sourghum and found it described as citrusy, which could go good with big hops, but dirty laundry citrusy is not want I am going for. Any one know of other gluten free bases for an extract brewer? or success with adjuncts that would enable a small sourgum base?

    Knowing a bit about brewing and nothing about gluten free beer, I was challenged by my bro to make a white ipa. I thought I would try gluten free. Sourghum extracts seem light in color. But I wonder if it's possible to build enough gluten free body to balance a big ipa hop bill. Maybe...

    Hello from Nevada City - how about a gluten free white ipa

    My brother in law has challenged me to brew my own white ipa. I got the inclination to go gluten free on it, somehow, maybe because it appears sorghum extract can be pretty light in color. But building a good ipa all about balance, and I wasn't sure how to get big body and stay white in color...
