I have brewed 3 10 gallon batches of the below recipe. I split the fist 10 gallons in half and pitched two different yeasts (3638, 3333). The 3638 was a bit to fruity for my pallet. It's a great summer session beer for people who crave a darker beer in the hot summer months.

Totally Agree, did a Mint Chocolate stout a few months ago. Been in the bottle for 6 weeks and it has an off flavor up front from the mint. I think next time we try the brew we will use some type of peppermint candy in the fermenter to get that flavor profile.

I suggest a CPVC manifold, its easy to build and breaks apart quick for easy cleaning after each brew. A small pipe cutter is all you need to piece it together plus a sawzall or hack saw to make your slots in the bottom of the manifold. Would take a picture of mine but it is currently covered in...
