    Do you crush flaked barley

Dumb question I know. I've never used this in a recipe and I'm not sure if you mash as is or crush it. Thanks.

    Is this a good price?

I spent a good deal of time trying to find deals to piece one together and could never make the numbers work. In the end, buying it all together was the best option. I'm really pleased with what I got from Keg Connection. Good quality and fast shipment.

    Utah is considering legalizing homebrew!

"If you take a mormon fishing, make sure that you take two. If you take one, they'll drink all of your beer. If you take two, neither one will drink at all because they're both so scared that the other one will tell on him." Coincidentally, that was told to me by two different mormons during...

    Is this a good price?

2 Keg Basic Keg Kit, Dispenses two kegs at once! (Separate Check Valves!) This is a two keg system for $208. Obviously you'd have to pay shipping but you get double the pleasure, double the fun. The single keg system is $158 I believe. By the time you pay shipping it would probably be a wash.

    ATL Area Group Keg Buy

I'm off Johnson Road, between Five Forks Trk. and Lawrenceville Hwy...which is not far from Sugarloaf Pkwy.

    ATL Area Group Keg Buy

I probably won't be able to make it on the 17th, (but just out of curiosity how long will you be at the store that evening?) Meeting up Saturday is more than likely what I'd have to do.

Just leave it in the primary for 3 weeks to a month

I'm sure this question has been answered already but...can you add gelatin to the primary or is it best suited for a secondary?

    ATL Area Group Keg Buy

I said 2 or 3 but I'll go ahead and make it a firm 3. I can help with picking some up from wherever they land and hold them at my house in Lawrenceville for others to pick up if needed.

    Attenuation Problems

I mashed at 152. And according to Beersmith the IBU is around 37. (This was for the A.G. batch)

    Attenuation Problems

So I've had three high F.G.'s in a row. The first two were partial mash kits that finished about 6 points too high and tasted terribly malty! (yeast was white labs with starters) The third was my first A.G. and like a lot of others I used Ed Wort's H.P.A. It finished at 1.014. Not as bad...

    What Size Cooler?

I just did my first AG yesterday. I used a 70 qt. Coleman Extreme that I already had. Made a 1/2" CPVC Manifold and it worked extremely well. I lose about 10 degrees from my strike water from the cooler absorbing it so I just factor that in. Once I did that it came down to my proper strike temp...

    2 Stuck Fermentations??

I never repitched...I was going to when I found that the cream ale was the same f.g. Thanks for the advice.

    2 Stuck Fermentations??

So this is getting strange and a bit irritating! Two months ago I made a Porter that was suppost to end up at 1.012 and it stalled at 1.018. After rousing the yeast back into suspension and it doing nothing I decided to take the advice of waiting and repitching onto another yeast cake. The...
