I just did the coopers Draught and it's ok.....Nothing great, nothing bad, just ok. Will brew another batch in the future using a different yeast, and give it to non-homebrewing people when they come over..LOL

Just curious, what do you all do with the stuff left over when done brewing (The lees?) I have heard it is good for plants, but I was thinking something a little more interesting, like possibly giving it to the chickens??? Any thoughts??? Could a "Smaller" beer be made? with the addition of...

Used Old Time Home Brew brand for the Birch Beer, and Gnome for the Cream Soda my oldest and I did Last night. I also switched yeast for the cream soda and it seems to be carbonating a little quicker than the last batch. I also picked up the book "Homemade Root Beer, Soda and Pop" by Cresswell...
