    Serving Homebrew at a Wedding

I am also brewing for a wedding and have been considering the same thing. I think I'm going to stick with simple cobra taps. The only other idea I might do is mount my perlicks onto a board and hold the board up with a couple of posts. I don't think anything super fancy is worth it for just a...

I've smacked 100% and never had problems. Smack it more than once if you aren't confident :) I smack it in my hands.

    Fruit Beer Lemon-Lime Hefe Weizen

Beer looks great. I'll be brewing a double batch for a wedding and I think I'll do the second with grapefruit. Wedding isn't for many months but I'll come back with comments. Cheers! @comments on air/co2: co2 is heavier than air so removing the lid doesn't necessarily remove the blanket of...

If you are using RO water - are you adding anything to it? Have you checked your mash pH? Adjust your recipes to match your efficiency in the mean time.

Inexpensive way to get into a 20lb CO2 tanks

Could use an anti-siphon tube. (Bent tube that goes inside the tank so that when the tank is in the correct position the tube points upwards and doesn't suck in liquid that freezes the regulator)

    What's the best temp controller?

I dunno do you? If you are prepared to order a new one you might as well try to strip the one you have now and if it goes wrong it's not a big deal. Could always install it through the collar if you have one. Or just leave it.
