    How Much Priming Sugar?

I started with the Mr Beer kits and they were real good to get your feet wet, but not so good if you wanted to go off script. If you want more ABV, then you need to add more fermentables during the original mash process. (Mixing for Mr Beer). . Like the booster packs, or dextrose, or...

    Priming Hefeweizen with 5g dextrose

Looks great.... I'm also into bottle priming for several reasons. ... mainly being I don't want to expose the beer to too much oxygen (I read somewhere that a few brewers find doing this beneficial). I also have a bit of difficulty getting the amount just right. My scale isn't as accurate as it...

Read this interesting story this morning...

While I think it's great for people who wish to drink NON alcoholic beer, isn't it sorta the point when you drink beer, to have some alcoholic effects? You know, that "little- sumpin', sumpin' "?

    Old Grain....

Seems like wasting perfectly usable grains.... I searched for a Brulosophy article and found this... It also has a link to a brew he made with old grains. https://brulosophy.com/2018/10/29/the-impact-of-age-on-crushed-malt-exbeeriment-results/

    Grape flavor in German beer?

I get it.... it's always from the crisp German pilsners. AND I would also describe it as like an ice wine flavour with no sweetness

    Need a little help…

Let's hope you really, REALLY enjoy brewing because it looks like you have quite alot of money sunk into it already. My biggest investment was a Blichmann Hellfire burner. I only got that after realizing I can't brew properly without a strong source of heat, like a propane burner.

    Very simple brewer..

I never said anything about cutting corners.... just not into doing extra steps that aren't necessary when doing a BIAB. What people are forgetting about my original post, is that I said I brewed dozens of batches of various styles, without problem.
