    NB American Wheat BIAB

Mash temp right on, batch sparing currently. Final Mash tasted super sweet. After reading everything on HBT I still feel like I'm doing something wrong here; however...it should still taste like beer. Will start the boil shortly.

I'm interested. Looking at make a wheat for an end of summer party. I want to use fresh fruit, so I've been leaning towards using peaches or nectarines. Sometimes these fruits, especially here in NJ, don't meet my expectations for flavor. They are also high in water content, but not as much...

    Partial Mash Surely Bender Kit

Thanks for the input...I added the Columbus at 15 mins. The hydro sample tasted awesome. Missed OG by 4, 1.056, supposed to be 1.060. My mash temp was a bit low when I pulled the lid at an hour, however....it will be beer. Curious to find a Surely Bender to compare it too.

    Partial Mash Surely Bender Kit

I'm in the process of brewing up NB's Surely Bender Partial Mash Kit. This is my first partial and so far its been great....until: Recipe calls for .75 oz of Columbus at beginning of boil then 2.5oz of willamette at the end. Well in all my glory of multi-tasking I put the 2.5 oz of...

Easy Partial Mash Brewing (with pics)

There are tons of options for pots...and also lots of arguments, just search SS vs aluminum. The cheapest I've found is this... buy a turkey fryer for $49. Now you have a 7.5 gal aluminum pot, a propane burner, and full boil capabilities. It has drastically improved my beer. I'll be using...

    Cream Ale

I brewed this same kit a little over a month ago. Carbed it in a keg and just tapped it today. It's amazing...very smooth and taste great. This was my first full boil extract. And If I did everything correctly, this will be my first picture upload.

    Russian River Brewing Sucks

No worries about the GMOs, the alcohol in beer destroys them.....it's science.

Is Guinness the most overrated beer...ever?

Guiness helped me transition to craft beer. I still enjoy it on tap; however, I dont think it taste like much anymore.
