I'll post some pictures tonight. The coil uses stainless compression fittings on the small lid of the main lid (it's basically a corney keg lid). I never actually set up the actual glycol system though. Was going to use a 1hp aquarium chiller and temp controller but kinda fell out of the hobby...
Located in southwest michigan.
Have a like new blichmann (used once) with triclamp fittings, tri-clamp blow-off and a custom made stainless glycol coil that attaches to the corney lid. This was over $1,000 new not including the glycol coil.
Looking for $600 for everthing picked up.
Hey guys,
I have an extra tower of power hanging around (no stand, just the control unit and everything it comes with).
Anyone interested in it? It has only been used a few times.
I'll start the price at $450 OBO. Willing to ship.
I finally got around to ordering the stainless immersion chiller coil from Stainless Brewing. I'll take some pictures and update the thread when I get that!

That's just my BK for 5 gallon batches. We have another 15 gallon for larger batches... Need a bigger BK soon however. 13.5 gallon preboil volumes are scary in these pots.

Sounds like my city water in Kalamazoo. Tons of residual alkalinity. The dark grains get the pH closer to what is optimal for the mash/fermentation. For light beers, cut your water 50% with RO water and adjust down to 5.2-5.4 pH with lactic acid.

If it's going to sit in one place, just get steel. You'll save money up front and not have to worry about finding a place that fills your precious shiny tank vs. swaps it. I ended up swapping my empty 5lb aluminum for a 20lb steel (full) at NO COST. No regrets.
