    Pacman Yeast Available

Does anyone know what is going on with the Pacman yeast? Every shop I look at states currently unavailable. When I follow-up with 1 vendor they indicated that they would not be able to get it again. Thanks

    Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar

Thanks for the info!! What type of hazelnut extract were you using? I dont necessarily mind the bold nut taste in mine but it sure is far from Rogue's!!

    Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar

Since I didnt get any feedback on my previous post I went onto Rogue's website and pulled their numbers and came up with the recipe below to establish my baseline for next generation iterations on this. From Rogue's Website (which I see they have changed) 12º Plato 28IBU 9.8ºL Hazelnut Brown...

    Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar

It appears that a handful of members have brewed the various recipes on this post. Which do you find is closest in taste to Rogue's current brew? I have plugged the numbers for 2 versions and neither meet the specs listed on Rogues website. I am looking to brew this in the next week or so, any...

    Autumn Seasonal Beer Punkin' Ale

I brewed my batch on 10.8 and it has now been conditioning in the bottle for ~9weeks and the green/sour taste i had is finally beginning to dissapate. I am bringing a 6er for xmas to get some opinions but I think 2-3 weeks it will good. Sometimes they just need time.

    Autumn Seasonal Beer Punkin' Ale

I brewed this on 10.8 with some modifications to make it closer to a ST clone and left it in the primary for 2 weeks. It has been in the bottle conditioning for 3 weeks now and still has a "green" taste. Do you think this will be ready by Thanksgiving?? My OG=1.075 and FG=1.016.

Southern Tier Hop Sun ?? on dry hopping

I brewed this 9.3 and did a side-by-side on 10.7 which gave it about 3 weeks to condition. Mine was slightly darker had better head retention and a stronger hop taste and aroma. To me ST has a lemon/honey taste that comes through towards the finish that I didnt get in mine. All-in-all the recipe...

    Sweet Stout Deception Cream Stout

The water/grist ratio could have been off as well or as the other post indicated your grain bill was off. Keep at it as it gets easier every time and you become familiar. I use Beersmith for building and converting my recipes
