It looks like I'm relocating to Fayetteville from St. Louis and would love to talk to some people about putting together a brew club. Is it safe to assume that everyone responding to this thread is still interested?

I have four of those myself. I was told that they were used for distilled water storage at some lab, so the level sensor let them know how much was left. I'm thinking of taking the probe apart and making a temp probe out of them and using the cornys for primary fermentation.

I have an old school heating pad without an auto shutoff that is rated at 60w. I thought I'd be safe and wrap some very thick material around it (think quadply canvas folded over 4 times) to make it more consistent and to hold the pad on. With that on "low" I accidently overshot my and hit 75...
