Looking For Beer Bottles In High Rockies

My brother in law harvested his first empty bottles from a bar. Make sure that you specify not the twist offs. Also, I have picked up bottles from New Belgium brewery from their warm up of their bottling line. I am not sure if they still do that, but if you are scrounging, ask around...

    Quad stuck at 1.046-help!

Some quads are finished with champagne yeast. I would pitch some of that and wait. It could be several months before it gets down to a low FG, such as 1.01. Make sure that the FG is stable before bottling.

    Local 12 beers of Christmas

Ginger is a subtle flavor that will probably blend with the hops. Cinnamon is another warm flavor that blends well. On another note, I saw some fully laden juniper shrubs on my daily walk with my dogs. The house is vacant and I can get a few ounces if anyone wants some fresh juniper berries.
