I can't help but wonder if your problem might be inefficient dissipation of heat from the condenser coil. When installed in the mini-frig, this coil is bonded with a metallic tape to the metal outer wall of the unit, which provides a very good heat-sink. Having the tube just loose like you have...

I have the TSS2. On the TSS2, SP1 Differential is r1. I think that may be my problem. It was set to 0.1. I reset it to .5, which I hope will make a difference. Thanks!
