My carboys/kegs are dirty and in need of cleaning!

brewzor pro beta users. Help please

I just downloaded this app and was importing some stuff from BeerAlchemy in XML. It doesn't look like my equipment profile came through (batch size, etc...), so it's not calculating IBU or OG. Can't find a way to set this. Edit: Nevermind. Got it.

What's a good price for kegs??

I don't think it's so much pros & cons as slight differences. The gas & liquid disconnects cost the same. The dimensions are slightly different (I think pin lock is wider & shorter???) Ball-lock seems to be a bit more popular and abundent, but that might just be my perspective. I can't think...

What's a good price for kegs??

I just bought 4 ball locks a couple weeks ago, reconditioned for $108 shipped. From this guy: pedalbiker53. They got here super-fast and in really nice shape. Also, when I looked, it seemed that pin-locks were selling for a good bit less.

    Banjo Cooker boil time

My keggle just barely fits on the banjo cooker. It might have 1/2" of extra room on each side. I'm considering welding some extra metal up the sides a couple inches to prevent any problems if something was to bump into it.

    Tapping the finished product

It loses pressure based on length and ID of the tubing. I don't know how much exactly, but I'm sure someone can answer that. I've always heard 10-12 psi and a 6 foot beer line works pretty well. That's what I have, and it does work fine. Also, this might be obvious, but make sure you're pulling...

    Another Grain Storage Question

I recently bought a used chest freezer on craigslist. Stupid me didn't test to make sure it works... and of course, it doesn't. Old ladies can't be trusted. Anyway... I'm thinking now I've got a 16 cubic foot grain storage bin. Right now I have the freezer out in my metal shead, underneath some...

    Alcohol laws

South Carolina has a 5% ABW cap on all beers, although people are working hard to get legislation introduced & passed to raise it to 14% ABW. (Let's hope it passes this year!) http://ptcsc.wordpress.com/ We also have stores that are split, liquor on one side, wine & beer on the other. Same...

    Just making sure.

I cut my slots on the bottom... basically following Palmer's directions. I built my manifold so that the two end pieces and the 3 long pipes with slots all come apart... definately makes it easy to clean, and now I can experiment with turning the slots up or sideways.

    Banjo Cooker boil time

Yeah, my burner ("The Burninator"), runs full blast until I get the full boil... then I just turn it down a bit, and it maintains a good rolling boil. I almost expected it to burn through an entire propane tank in one brewday.... but so far it's done pretty good.

    Banjo Cooker boil time

Is that the big nasty from Amazon for $60? I love mine. My 10-15 min boil time was from mash temps, too, BTW.

    Used Chest Freezer

A refrigerant leak, huh... I don't know. I've been taught never to trust people named Bobby.

    Rosemary lamb chops

I actually made a very similar meal to this last night... lamb chops with rosemary, thyme, basil, salt, pepper cooked in olive oil. It paired really well with Ommegang's Rare Vos Belgian-style Amber Ale. Delicious.
