    Hello from SA, TX

I moved to San Antonio about two years ago. I found a LHBS off of 281 and N. St. Mary's. It's not much to look at, but I got some basice stuff from there a couple of weeks ago. I haven't treaded up to Austin to buy supplies yet, but I can see how it would be worth the trip.

Unforuneately, yeah I so to the LHbs off St. Mary's. I'm assuming the next closest store is in Austin. As for the Spurs, I have only lived here fora couple of years, I am originally fro the DFW.....That means Mavericks.

    Cherry Stout w/ Cooper's?

So I've made a couple of batches in my lifetime, and have only used extracts (cooper's). The past week or so, I have been daydreaming of making a Stout with a cherry flavor, or a chocolate cherry flavor, or rasberry...Anyway, I am still crazy new at this whole game, and have only made a couple...

    Coopers doesn't mention secondary

    What is your favorite label/bottle???

I'm not a huge fan ofthe overdone labels. I'm partial to the series of labels that Dundee uses.

Best Flip Top for the Money

Like everyone else, I'm sure. I'm trying to build my Grolsh flip-top bottles. I am trying my best to drink as many as possible by Monday, or so. So I can put asmuch of the new batch as possible in them. For the money, I'm I going the right way with Grolsh? I have bought a few Fisher's...

Washer drops in the Wort.....Should I dump?

That is a comforting thing to hear.

Washer drops in the Wort.....Should I dump?

This is my very first batch. I boiled a gllon of water, mixe in the sugar, can of cooper's, all that stuff. A day later, I had to move the seven gallon bucket and the ferment lock came off. I sanitized the pieces and, as I was fitting it backinto the hole in the lid, the washer fell in the...
