Wanted to share with you guys my view of the SKC v NYR match on saturday. We bought the $50 beer terrace seats. Holy crap. Best seat I've ever had for any sporting event. 20ft from the pitch, unlimited beers, brats, hotdogs, and nachos. Livestrong Park is beautiful. It was an amazing day.

yes and yes. Personally I stay away from brown sugar. I find the off flavors it adds to a brew to be particularly harsh.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. I would say the worst case scenario is a small level of oxidization. I always rack to secondary at 6 days. Not saying that's how it should be done or anything, obviously gravity readings are a good idea, but I've never had ANY issues.

I actually received this book in the mail today. It is beautiful and packed full of great information. I highly recommend adding it to your library.

Checked in on my Apfelwein last night. It's been in primary in an ale pale for about 4 months, and now has a pretty large amount of head space. Am I going to have any oxidation issues? It smells the slightest bit musty, but mainly just overwhelmingly alcoholic. :ban: Haven't tasted it...

Sanitizing your bottles takes the longest. If you are doing a 5 Gallon batch I don't know that the actual process of "bottling" will take you longer than 20-30 min or so. My wife caps the bottles, but I usually do everything else and it seems like we are done in about half an hour...
