Bought it brand new in October 2009, been a kegerator all along. Fits 4 5 gal cornies in the deep section. The hump is on the left side. I kept my 5# co2 tank on the hump, but it's not deep enough to fit another 5 gal keg, but a 3 or 2.5 should fit. I misspoke when I sale it was a...
This keezer is still for sale but only the bare freezer with collar. $100 takes it.
Also have a Ranco temp controller that I'll throw in for $20 of someone wants it
I'm reorganizing my garage and looking to sell my 4 faucet keezer to reduce the footprint of my beer stuff. (It will be replaced with something smaller.)
I can either sell just the freezer with collar, or complete with the faucets/lines/regulator/tank
I am also planning on removing the...
Did some more calibration today using my DIY capacitive level sensor. I think I'm going to bail on this and go with the tried and true Brewtroller-style "Bubbler" system.
Here are some charts from my calibration of the capacitive sensor showing how variable it is with temperature. I built...
So I have some good news on the DIY Capacitive Liquid Level Sensor... I got it working. Check my blog post here https://brewberrypi.wordpress.com/2015/02/13/level-sensor-working/
This was my first crack at building a sensor of this type, so I will photo document the build of the next one I...
Might be able to interface with it using one of these usb to rs485 adapters, but you'd have to get a driver and interpret the code from there. http://m.ebay.com/itm/like/121457862411?lpid=82&chn=ps
Will do... I'm building the first one to make sure it's actually going to be accurate enough, then when I make the second one ill photo document the build and post something in this sub forum.
I'm working on a DIY capacitive level sensor... Proof of concept worked so building up a more robust version to try in the boil kettle. Using the "concentric pipes" design with a 1/2" copper pipe and an 8 AWG copper wire that'll be electrically isolated by 1/8" ID silicone hose. Connecting...
I use the same sensors the OP posted...
This is going to look like I work for brewhardware or something, but I do not, just have a bunch of parts from there...
For my fermenters, I have a long thermowell that the probe fits perfectly inside...
I fixed one by de soldering both relays and moving the working heating relay to the cooling side. Made it only a one stage controller but it's better than nothing!
I think I found some replacements on ebay back when repairing this one but never got around to ordering any.
Nice work! I added wheels to mine after I saw someone else did the same... Makes it easy to move around during brew day

If only it was rated to boiling temps... I've been reading up on capacitive liquid level sensors, going to try that out over the pump and pressure sesnsor approach that some use
