I haven't been able to brew in two months due to moving, and this weekend I'll finally be able to get back to it. To say I'm excited would be an understatement....
Just finished cleaning up from brewing earlier. Made a Simcoe/Centennial Pale Ale using only late hopping. This is my first time not using a traditional bittering addition so I am excited to see how it turns out.
Was measuring out my hops, and when I cut open the bag of Columbus I got smacked in the face by pure garlic and onion. So I'm going with a Centennial/Simcoe APA now.
Kegged up a pale ale early this morning to free up a fermentor so I can brew this weekend. Spending a little time over lunch putting together the recipe for my Azacca Blonde.
Going to brew up another hoppy blonde this weekend. Finally found a recipe I like that the SWMBO also likes so I think I will have one on tap from now on. Also a great excuse to try out some of the different hop varieties I have with a nice clean grain bill.
I'll be brewing up a Helles either tomorrow or Sunday. It is always on my "to brew" list, but I always end up making something else. So this weekend I am finally brewing it.
Brewed up a 5 gallon batch of a Mosaic/2-Row SMaSH while working from home. I've been using 2-row from a local maltster and it is ridiculously good so I couldn't bring myself to add any specialty malts to the beer.
