    Stale beer- Oxidized?

Oxidation is kind of a harsh, wet cardboard flavor. So I doubt its oxidation. Really sounds like an infection. An infection could come in anywhere. Since it sounds like the off flavor comes slowly, likely it is being introduced during the bottling phase and is propagating while in the...

American Wheat Beer Kinda American Citrusy Wheat

75%. I calculate 1.044 as being less than 60%. Neither I or my buddy has ever had any trouble hitting the numbers either. Might want to check your crush and mash pH. Did you do all grain or the PM version?

Perlick tap through a watermelon...will it ruin it?

I won't ruin it, but you will likely have to take it apart to properly clean it.

    Reissdorf Kolsch

I tasted mine out of curiosity last night. I used the 24 IBUs for the sake of replication. But yeah, it is definitely too much. That's ok, I'll lager this one for a month or two and check it again. The underlying beer seemed good so far though.

    Reissdorf Kolsch

I was fortunate to judge light hybrid beers at the Homebrew Festival at the WEB. The recipe listed is what the brewer emailed to me. I scored his beer at 42, he took gold. This beer was the closest to Reissdorf I ever tasted. It truly was an excellent beer. My recipe is nearly identical...

    Reissdorf Kolsch

I have one that is carbonating right now. I went back to 029, but fermented considerably colder, filtered, and modified the recipe a little.

Sour smell filling up room where fermenter is

W-34/70 isn't too bad, but its a lager... which means that ferementation isn't quite as active. Plus, you will probably have it in a fermentation chamber anyways, so it's normally not an issue. If you used it at ale temps I imagine it would be pretty rough.

    Running wire in conduit

Aluminum wire is fine. Just use the proper connectors and the anti-ox compound. Years ago there was a problem with the alloy that was used. Also, the smaller gauge aluminum wires had a tendency to deteriorate, posing an arc problem. Today's alloys are much better, plus using a wire as large...

    Running wire in conduit

Yeah, its ok to do it that way. Electrical contractors and inspectors dispute this all of the time, but the code doesn't directly prohibit it... But both groups pretty much agree that for 6 foot distances, it is fine. Use a connector or approved bushing where the wire enters the conduit to...

    Running wire in conduit

Do not run sheathed cable in conduit. The heat build-up is too much. Besides, pulling THHN through conduit is insanely easier than trying to pull a sheathed bundle through. At any rate, OP, you are fine to use the sheathed 6/3 for your set up. If you can run it along the bottom of the...

    BJCP category help

I would be willing to bet they are both 1B. Asian beers in particular use LOTS of adjuncts. Plus, the Flying Horse is on the very low end of ABV for 1C.

    Running wire in conduit

Per the National Electrical Code 334.15, you can run wires not smaller than 3 8awg wires along the bottom of the joists. So you are fine with the 6/3.
