    Removing hot break/cold break

    Okay, I brewed my first all grain batch a couple weeks ago. Is this hot break that made it into my carboy? If so, is it bad for the beer? If not, what the heck is it?

    Google here too... it loves this forum. Type "how to" and pretty much any home brew question you've ever had... - reduce chill haze - measure original gravity - wash yeast - make an immersion wort chiller and voilà, www.homebrewtalk.com.... amazing.

    Hello from Charlotte...

    Hello, my name is Joel, and I'm actually living in Matthews NC (little town on the edge of Charlotte). I've been brewing since 2005ish, but up until 2013 it was just 3-4 extract batches per year. In 2013 I've brewed 9 batches, and will be squeezing one more in before the end of the year! #9...
