    PAA (Pineapple apple apple)

I just bottled some cider using your version of the recipe, it came out great! I did not carbonate it or sweeten it after, but it was still good!

    Airlock Ran Dry

Hi everyone, I have a jug of cider that has been aging for the past 2 months. I went to check it today and the 3 piece airlock was dry! Argh! I don't have a good idea of how long it has been dry. Should I just toss the whole thing? It looks normal, no weird smells or anything. Thanks again!

    Bad Taste After Bottling

Is it normal for cider to taste a little off after bottling? It tasted fine when I was bottling it, and I placed the bottles in the fridge with hopes of drinking them soon. I cracked one open today (3 days later) and it tastes watery and weird, kind of like an open bottle of wine that sat out...

Relying on Blow Off Tube to Level Out Brew

I'm working on my second cider (pineapple apple from the recipe forum), but I did not leave enough head room in the carboy when I added the yeast (when I put the stopper in, it began to overflow a bit). I did not want to remove any liquid out of fear of removing too much yeast. Will I be okay...

Aging Still Cider in Wine Bottle in Fridge

Hello! I am finishing up my first (very basic but tasty) cider. Am I correct in understanding a still cider that finishes fermentation at 1.000 or below should be safe to bottle in a standard wine bottle? If I age it in the fridge will that add an additional layer of safety? I'm paranoid of...
