ive been craving this beer so much that i think im going to brew it again this summer. i stocked up on hops online and bought a 50# sack of 2row this year so hopefully itll be a little bit cheaper this time
i swear i saw an ad on here for an electrically cooled jacket that fits over a carboy but ive been searching here all day and cant seem to find it anywhere. am i crazy or something?
this beer came out pretty incredible. just drank it this past weekend at the bachelor party and everyone loved it. a tongue bruiser for sure. would love to brew it again if it didnt cost over $30 for the hops alone.
what im trying with my current IIPA is two different dry hop additions. i read an article in zymurgy about it this month. they say to have shorter contact time with the dry hops and then use a second addition after a few days.
my girlfriend drew this one for me. its an english brown ale with a minimal amount of fuggles hops and over steeped earl grey tea for tannic bitterness and then dry hopped with more tea in the secondary.
