Hey guys-- I found this recipe for the "strongest beer in the world" whilst still tasting good-- but I can't see this being a 5gallon batch. That's gotta be at least a 7gal. batch, correct?

I know a bunch of you guys use this software-- what happens when the trial runs up? Does it lock you out or just not allow you to save recipes anymore? I want to buy it, but cash is tight right now (last week of college-- bills come in in two months) so I can't right away, but I'd like to at...

I really like some of the ideas from BeerSmith, but I think I may create a .doc file that I can alter a little for a few things for my own sanity. Again, still trying to get used to it-- but pretty cool.

I think I need to work my way through it. It's perfect for me because I'm wickedly obsessive compulsive about organization-- so it should work out perfectly when I understand it all.:D

Thanks for the help guys-- I'll be updating this whenever I settle into my new place. I've gotta move from Boston to Providence for 6 weeks, then to Philly. SO essentially, brewing is taking a back-seat for a little while. :mad:

Grew up in Fall River, live in Boston, moving to Phili. I go where the beer takes me. ...or law school.

Don't remind me. Boston = $5 a pint is a good price. It's brutal.

Gave it a taste. Didn't taste quite like an IPA-- but that could have been because I had ****ed up the recipe during the brewing; it was a mess from the start, I guess. Not my cup of tea... I think I'll bottle a dozen or so and see how they come out. My beginning gravity was a 1.046 and final...
