Hey Cooper--I got the same keg as you and was also wondering about the posts, poppets, and tubes. Do you mind putting those pictures and info in the Bottling/Kegging sub-forum? (I'll do it if you want--just didn't want to steal your thunder.)
It might get more views from knowledgable...
Any chance you guys are going to have more of the $34.95 Racetrack lid kegs??
Was hoping to get one but your site says "Sorry but this item is currently unavailable."
Got home from the brew store around noon and accidentally put a yeast packet in the freezer. Took it out about two to three hours later. It is Danstar American West Coast BRY-97.
Will it still be viable? Any tips?
Thanks guys. Yall are always a great help.
Newbie here on 5th batch.
These are the instructions received from Austin Homebrew Supply:
"10 days of fermentation in 50-55 degree.
After that slowly raise the temperature to 60-70 for two days to improve flavor.
Then, slowly cool the beer down to 40 degrees for 3-4 weeks."
Lots...
I've never made a yeast starter before. Is it as easy as this picture says?...
