I brewed Austin Homebrew Supply's American Barley Wine last January. Cant say enough about it, except that I will definitely brew it again this winter! Excellent!!
My first attempt at lagering will be a Baltic Porter kit. The directions call for the regular lagering method, pitch yeast relatively warm, cool over the first couple days of fermentation to primary fermentation temp, warm back up for DR and then lager for four weeks.

BYO had a great Sweet Potato ESB recipe some months back. Maybe seach BYO online and see if it's available. If you are interested in the recipe and it's not available online, I will be glad to send it to you!
I have been getting ready to build a keezer for some time now, purchasing faucets, shanks, regulator etc when I had the cash. I recently noticed that Sears has an appliance layaway plan now (in the past appliances werent applicable). Thought this might be a good way to purchase a 5.0cf chest...
I use the analog version of the Johnson previously listed.
It works slick, never had a problem!

Wasnt there a "Sweet Potato ESB" recipe in a recent BYO that resulted in a bright orange beer (but with no taste of sweet potato)? I have considered brewing it for Halloween!
I too was recently given a steel #20 tank (with Canada Dry stickers on it :) ). It's pretty rusted up around the handle/collar and the base of the on/off valve. Anyone know if a company like Air Gas will take it?? Thoughts?
