If you decide to part out I would be interested in the wort chiller....also if you package it up, give me the weight and dimensions I'll pay for the shipping and send you shipping label via email because I get a good discount through UPS.
Ok so I'm in the process of a rehab project on a 20+ year old bev air BM23, everything works except the hoses were pretty fugly. The tower cooling vent, the funky wire reinforced vinyl tube that runs from the condenser housing up the bottom of the tower....I need to replace this thing, does...
Lower right side seems to be the place but with as much as these things go for new I wouldn't go punching holes in one.

Lines are cheap .50 cents a foot. R12 is like gold, save it for when you have to charge the bm23..also these units are tanks, built to last so if anything if you have to get a tower get a two or three tap tower and convert it to a multi keg unit.

Drip tray line pulls right off, the hanger on the tower cooling like hooks to the tap head inside the tower to keep the vent from falling out, and from what I hear you can get a replacement vent at Lowes or home depot cheap. I haven't replaced my duct yet but I think you have to take off the...
Good to know...I'm toying with the idea of just using some kind of vinyl contact paper instead of stripping and painting. Not sure if its worth the trouble depending on how it looks.

I would have to disagree about the chilling rapidly part...I've been brewing all grain for over a year now and use a wort chiller...whether it cools in 15 min or 45 min it makes no difference in how the beer tastes...one of the biggest myths out there is that you have to rapidly cool the wort...
Also are you using extract or all grain? Extract can be unpredictable because generally you end up with a blend of grains in extracts. All grain in the way to go....cheaper too just more time consuming but the beer is much better.
