    Fruit Beer Wild Strawberry Blonde

I used the "search this thread" option before asking the question but didn't see it. Anyone try this with all cascade? I currently have a lot of it on hand. Do you think it's worth picking up some Saaz?

Blonde Ale Centennial Blonde (Simple 4% All Grain, 5 & 10 Gall)

I felt the same way about it, after a couple more weeks it was delicious.

Bottle bomb: options? + safety question

+1 to the rubbermaid container. I've only had bottles explode once and I was glad I had them in one. All of my bottles go into the "blast chamber" until they are refrigerated. :)

    Copper coil

This. I've read that starsan dissolves copper. If you're using starsan on your chiller that would probably account for a metallic taste.

    Carboys Glass vs Plastic

Not really, search the forum a bit. You'll find multiple reports of ER visits due to glass carboys.

    brewing from morebeer kit

Won't really effect flavor, once the boil is over the hops have done their job. You do need to oxygenate the wort but if your carboy is glass I would not recommend shaking it. It's heavy and if you slip you could end up with a mess and lots of broken glass. There are plenty of stories on...

    brewing from morebeer kit

Either way is fine. I used to leave the hops and everything in, now I strain them out. It's up to you. Edit: If you're going into a carboy and not a bucket it may be easier to leave it out (if your using a siphon or a funnel)

Blonde Ale Centennial Blonde (Simple 4% All Grain, 5 & 10 Gall)

The batch I just bottled sat for 5 weeks. The sample I tasted when bottling was great!

Will my auto-siphon troubles oxidize my beer?

(I know I'm reviving a very old thread but tonight I had to use a hose that was too large for my auto siphon and had bubbles, so I was searching the forums to see how big...
