PS, we enjoyed Stranger Things season 2 as well. Even the kids did.
I did take mercy on my oldest deciding she was finally old enough to watch some older classics. She's since gobbled up Silence of the Lambs and Seven. So many fallback tributes she now understands but pretty sure it's no...
@bleme: You need just enough fear from them so they don't engage in that when your voice gets overly excited.
That said, I've been on the busy side so sorry if this is all flowing out overwhelmingly..
I just finished the CW DC Quad-fecta.
Legends of Tomorrow- is campy and silly...
I know the standard gauge silicone tubings are a no go for gas lines due to low burst pressure but has anyone had any experience with some of the higher strength options or is gas permeability too great an obstacle to overcome? I was looking into Medical Reinforced Silicone and came across this...
My first batch I didn't have Notty or Montracet so went with the ec1118 and I had a good bit of overflow by filling to the neck so I always leave a bit of head space just in case. The S04 based one I just began slow started (new pack plus an old expired one dry to pitch) but today just as I was...
I didn't know they ate plastic either til someone pointed out what they were and I started reading. I started noticing the small holes shortly after. A few small in the thin part of the funnel but the majority in the thin bags. There is a good bit of goop on the hoses and it seemed like...
Yeah, that's the plan mostly. I'm hoping the carboy cleaner is salvageable (the stand should be fine after a date with the pressure washer) and the stainless stuff should be ok. More irritated at this point than anything else.
Waxworms were spot on. More disturbingly they apparently eat polyethylene. According to the interwebs they come from moths of which we see many. May try to salvage some of the metal pieces. But there are tiny holes in the thin part of my favorite funnel. 😣
I'm not even sure how to ask this one... Has anyone ever had an outbreak of worms on their equipment while in storage? I had a bin of hose, funnels, and other such plastic things that had never even been used and I hadn't touched in a couple years. I went to get something out of it (had some...
If memory serves, white mold was the one that *should* be ok though I've never seen it personally in a batch (though I've gotten colored mold before it really took off in a batch I soaked overnight which is why I no longer do that).
The last two batches I've done (Thai Jasmine) were a quick dip...
PS and mainly just because it made me laugh to think about re'reading... In sane person land there is no chance Luke Cage is given an Oscar. But if he did, would he crumple it into a ball?
