Relax. It will be fine. Give it some blood meal or another fertilizer of your choosing and let nature handle the rest. I bet by next month your bines will be 10'+. In the mean time, take the broken bines and grow new plants from them.
My 2nd year Fuggles from GLH haven't grown that tall and the bines are starting to grow side arms/shoots. They don't look like the kind that hops grow from. Why is it doing this? Is it normal? I water every other day and give it nitrogen.
I've been brewing for a while. I really want to brew 1/2 bbl batches now. I want to get a 20 gallon fermenter that is self draining and want to control the temp as my place doesn't have A/C and several batches have been ruined due to getting to hot. Does anyone out there know of any fermenter...
