It finally hit 65 here today, so I pulled out the brew pot and had a porch brew day. I made TwoHeadsBrewing's Summer Citrus Wheat. All in all it was a fairly easy brew day, until I realized I forgot to add the orange peel to my kettle. I ended up boiling a couple cups of water with the peel in it and threw it right into the chilling wort, and even got to use the remaining snow as a chiller. There's just something awesome about chilling wort in a snow bank while it's warm enough to wear shorts. I got a few curious looks from the neighbors while I was doing it though. Hit the gravity on the nose after I boiled 8 gallons down to 5.5. Took a few pictures, because everyone loves beer pron.
