I just scored a wall mount drinking fountain. ( bubbler as we in new england call it)

Anybody have any thoughts as to the best use for it? Anyone ever use one before?

I was thinking to use it sonewhere in a wort cooling system. The water lines in and out of the evap are only 1/4 ".

Any thoughts would be greatly appriciated!!

Cheets!!:-D

Alright, this isn't going to be a very informed post....

A while back someone suggested using a water fountain as a wort chiller. Someone did the math on it and if I remember correctly, you would have to run boiling wort through it ten passes or so to bring it down. The suggestion was made to use it as a pre-chiller only.

I could be 100% wrong, but maybe someone remembers the thread or has a better idea.

Fp weeks. Thats a great idea. But I plan on building a ferm chamber out of a mini fridge I have. Thanks for rhe link tho. Pretty cool! (No pun intended) lol

Didn't I see something not long ago that someone used one of those to dispense beer?
New design kegorator there!!!

I think the one you speak of was using a "Cornelius soda dispenser" for dispensing beer.

Was using the soda taps as well, with kegs sitting at room temp, and routing said "barley pop" through the chiller block in the dispenser.

"Trough" in Texas

But I would rig that $hit in the garage and hook it up to a corny keg and serve soda or lemonade out of it
