I finally got around to making a mash paddle and a sampling tray. I was actually at HD looking for unistrut parts for a brew stand build when I passed the wood section. They are both made from red oak. The 3.5"x1"x3' paddle stock was $7.00 and the two pieces for the tray ran $18.00. Finished them both in a couple of hours.

Ever thinking of drilling all the way through the taster board? Makes for easier carrying and cleaning.

Hmmm, so the fat portion of the glass is what keeps it in place....interesting, I might do that, or build another. Thanks for the thought.
