Your suggestions on hydrometers

I dont' own one, and from what I've read on here I need one. I'm on my third batch in two weeks and have not used one yet. I'm planning my fourth batch now and want to order before I get started. Would this work for what I need?

I'm considering getting these, too, since the triple scale is hard to read accurately.

That's just a sample jar. You'll want one of those too (no need for glass though!). The sample jar makes it a LOT easier to read the hydro compared to using the tube the hydro comes in.

If a couple of extra bucks doesn't hurt, get one with a thermometer built in.

BoogDaddy - Go with the recompilations above, but YES you do need a hydrometer, it is a very critical tool, and it will make you a better brewer if you use it well.
Use the hydrometer Luke.
(OK, I know I have overused that).
