Can I use to siphon beer from the carboy to my keg? Does it have to be food grade? Or can I just use any type of plastic tubing? I'd like to pick some up at home depot tomorrow.

I mean flexible plastic tubing. The vinyl stuff at Home Depot smells too much of plastic. Or is this OK?
You can use the vinyl tubing at Home Depot. I use it on some of my equipment just fine.
The vinyl tubing is what I was talking about. The rigid stuff is pvc pipe. They are both made out of PVC.
Clean the vinyl tubing well before using. Siphon some hot cleaning solution through it a few times to get rid of the smell.
