Walnut Street Wheat
5 gallon
All Grain

5 lb. Pale Malt 2-row
4 lb. White Wheat Malt
1 lb. Flaked Wheat

1 oz. Hersbrucker (60 min)
1 oz. Mt. Hood (30 min)

1 tsp Irish Moss (15 min)

Wyeast 1010 American Wheat yeast

Any suggestions on my choices? This is only my 2nd personal recipe and I am still learning the ropes.

ultra would work, but a finishing hop isnt necessary in a wheat.

Brew that bad boy. I'd skip the flameout hops on an American Wheat. You're not trying to make Sumpin' Sumpin' here. You'll probably want to check mash pH -- the lack of acid malt or dark grains and the presence of a substantial proportion of wheat suggest it will probably run on the high side.

(About a quarter pound of acid malt would probably help)

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I will skip the finish hops and use that 1/4 pound of acid malt. Won't be able to brew for a while though. Moving in a month and getting an electric stove top... so I'm probably gonna have to get an outdoor burner and propane tank.
