I brewed the Midwest Supplies Mexican Style Cerveza recipe two and a half weeks ago as my third recipe. The only modification to the recipe was I added about half a cup of corn syrup because I read a review suggesting to do that. After one week I transfered it to secondary. After a few days in secondary it turned so dark it almost looked black. I checked on it again a few days later and it was back to the normal color but had some bubbles on top and the airlock was bubbling quite a bit. Now today I checked it and there are even more bubbles and the airlock is still going. What do you guys think is going on? Is it just the yeast eating all the extra sugar in the corn syrup? I sure hope that this batch isn't ruined.
