My burners have been the victim of some boil overs. There is some gunk on them that appears to be clogging where the flame comes out. How should i clean them?
On Tap: Centennial Blonde
Kegged (carbing): Belgian Wit
Primary: Pliny Clone
Bottled: Apfelwein (2011)
Green scrubbie sponge and baking soda paste works well. SS or metal brush if all else fails.
Could also use oven cleaner. Nasty stuff though. Wear gloves, well ventilated area and away from your brew equipment.
Bar keepers friend and elbow grease.
