Has anyone tried using a Kitchenaid grain mill attachment to crush their grain or would it over crush it?

Someone asks this about once a month,in fact if you scroll down to the similar threads box below the quick replay one, you will see a thread on it...

You won't find many people using them...there are a few people out there ecvdently, but not many.

they are kind of expensive, and not many people are willing to risk a 400 dollar mixer and a 150 dollar grainmill to find out.

It's a flour mill attachment with a very small hopper. When I looked one over in the store it didn't look very adjustable to get a course enough crush.

The $120 Barley Crusher I picked up instead is infinitely more suited to the job than the Kitchen Aid Mill.
