Home made sparge arm. Will it aerate the mash?

Bulit this sparge arm for fly sparging. After using it a couple of times then got concerned it would aerate the mash. Then I realized all sparge arms drop water onto the surface of the mash. I think this sparge arm is safe, just thought I'd ask some more experienced brewers.

The photos show the sparge arm with the holes facing up for clarity.
