Hey guys,

Just helping out a friend with a brew and he was looking at making this 5 gal PM recipe. Thinking something Abbot Ale'ish?:

3lbs MO
3lbs Light DME.
0.5 lb Amber Malt.
0.5 lb Crystal 60
EKG hops (not sure of quantities or schedule)
Safale S-04

Does anyone have any advice on an EKG hop schedule or adjustments on malts? Any advice is definitely appreciated. Thanks!
 
I agree that the grist looks good, but I would change the 1 oz dry hops to 0.5 oz at flameout. I must admit I've never tried Abbot Ale, but I find that most English ales don't use dry hopping at that rate.
