My buddy has a large beer gas cylinder that he wants to get rid of. Does anybody know if recharge centres will generally fill them with CO2? Also, anybody know if a standard CO2 regulator will work on a beer gas cylinder?

Thanks!

The tanks are the same but the valves are different.

The regulators are the same but have a different fitting for the valve.

My guess is a good supplier would be happy to trade the cylinders for little or no cost.
