Got the urge to start some cider yesterday so here we go. Nothing crazy or exciting, but put in some stuff I havn't tried before.
5 gallons indian summer 100% apple cider
1 lb clear Belgian hard candi sugar
6 - 5.5fl oz cans of Kern's pear nectar (random find at grocery store)
White Labs - WLP775 English Cider Yeast
With the water that I used to sterilize the pear nectar and candi sugar I ended up at just around 6 gallons. The bad news...was drinking with some friends when I put everything together and forgot to check OG. Otherwise we're all good
