I am still reading the threads posted meanwhile I have 2 questions. In my "horse trading" I got some wine equipment amongst which is a Vinamat wine filter (hand pump thru circular filter pads).
I understand after clearing wine of lees, cold crashing and continous racking you can get clear wine. I understand if I filter the wine I should do coarse filter first (5-6 micron) and if I want polish at 1 micron.
Question 1 - where can I buy 5-6 micro pad material in bulk so I can fit to my Vinamat?
Question 2 - since I keg my beer can't I just "push" the wine thru the Vinamat device using my 20# CO2 tank?
