Major Dickensons by Peets. Good bold dark roast flavor. And you can buy it in bulk at Costco

I ordered 6lbs of Rwanda coffee from Costco based on the favorable reviews. Figured 36 bucks, give or take, not bad for 6lbs.

If one likes their beans at a French Roast or maybe somewhat past that level (they're very black and oily looking) then it's probably OK.

But, at the roast level, there really isn't any varietal character left so I was not as enthusiastic in my review. It shouldn't be called out at a varietal. Instead it should simply be called a French Roast coffee.

I have become addicted to fresh (I won't buy it if its more than 4 days old) locally roasted coffee to use in my espresso rig. Their standard espresso blend, which is fairly light, is very good. Some of their 'single origin' coffees have been mind blowing, but at about $25/lb, is a rare treat.

My favorite coffee is whatever is on sale in K-cups. :D Whenever I get down to my last box of K-Cups, I will scour the internet and find the cheapest source of pre-packaged K-Cups. :)

I just saw this so post so I thought I'd chime in. I also really like the Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. We went to Jamaica last year on one of our stops on the cruise we took. I was able to buy one pound bags of the stuff for $20.00 a pound/bag. I bought two bags! I really think it has a very unique flavor. It's like $60 to $70 a pound here in the US, so I was very happy to get it so cheap!
