wine Mash taste like sweet vodka?

I made a little brewing jar of fruit and lot of sugar to try brewing. After 10 days i opened it and it smelled strong. Next day I opened it, it get gas out and then when I tasted it, it was strong and tasted like vodka. Does that mean my mash have a big alcohol percentage?

Apple fruit and grape.
1/3 Fruit
1/3 sugar
2/3 water
In a 2 pound container.

added yeast on top, and an airlock.

It taste good "sweet" but strong alcohol like vodka.
