I'm harvesting yeast from Bell's Pale Ale.

My question is, approximately how many yeast cells are there in a bottle of commercial unfiltered beer?

For clear beer, it would be something like 100 million, if the beer was still fresh.

When harvesting from a bottle, I like to start with about 50 mL of wort, and move up in several stages. 50, 150, 500 mL, then a full-size starter.

Thanks a lot for the response. I didn't think I was going to get an answer.
I was wondering if I had asked a ridiculous question.
